NEW DELHI, MARCH 23, 2026: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, continues to advance its sustainability and social impact agenda through Paathya, its ESG+ framework.
Marking its fourth year, IHCL reinforced its commitment to responsible tourism with Bharat EkSaath Walkathon – Delhi-NCR edition, an inclusive 3 km walk bringing together associates, their families, local partners, vendors and community across 14 countries in over 200 locations. The funds raised through the walkathon support the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust (TPSWT), reinforcing IHCL’s approach to social impact.
In Delhi-NCR, the walkathon came to life across three iconic locations, each rooted in the spirit of community and shared purpose. Commencing from Taj Mahal, New Delhi, the event brought together patrons and associates from Taj Mahal, New Delhi, The Connaught, New Delhi – IHCL SeleQtions, Ambassador, New Delhi – IHCL SeleQtions, The Claridges New Delhi and Ginger. The initiative was joined by members of Sheroes – Chhanv Foundation, an NGO that supports acid attack survivors, underscoring the spirit of resilience and inclusion.


Simultaneously, the walkathon at Taj Palace, New Delhi, witnessed participation from Taj Palace, New Delhi, Taj Safaris, Soulinaire, and The Clarks Hotels and Resorts. The event saw a diverse group of participants including defence veterans, elderly residents from the Ashok Sawhney Foundation Old Age Home, neurodivergent children from Muskaan Foundation, children from Sankalp NGO, and volunteers from Shakti Shalini. The walkathon also featured a Paathya-led seedball activity conducted by Hara Jeevan, encouraging environmental stewardship alongside community action.
In the Millennium City, the walkathon was flagged off from Taj City Centre Gurugram parallely, with Taj City Centre Gurugram, Taj Damdama Lake Resort and Spa, Taj Surajkund Resort and Spa, Delhi NCR, and Vivanta New Delhi Dwarka coming together to participate enthusiastically in the initiative.
